You Can’t Make It Up: Planned Parenthood Offering Free Vasectomies, Medication Abortions Near DNC
This just in from Tales of the Bizarre: The Democratic National Convention will feature, aside from the usual lunacy, even more lunacy: Free vasectomies, inflatable intra-uterine birth control devices (IUDs), and pharmaceutical abortions outside the convention hall.

I suppose you could say that they are putting their money where their mouths are – except for the recipients of this largesse, who aren’t paying.
While delegates are in Chicago for next week’s Democratic National Convention, they will engage in the typical pageantry and traditions: They’ll vote for their nominee, pose for photos with elected officials, and show off their state with cool buttons or themed hats.
They will also have the option of getting a free vasectomy or a medication abortion just blocks away.
A mobile health center run by Planned Parenthood Great Rivers, which serves much of Missouri and part of southern Illinois, plans to park itself near the convention and offer those services early next week to anybody who makes an appointment, delegate or not. (There is so much interest in the vasectomy appointments, I’m told, there is already a waiting list.)
Ah – Planned Parenthood. Of course–your tax dollars at work.

Of these services, abortions of course are the controversial one. Not too many people will object to vasectomies, especially if the result is liberal soy-boys not reproducing; that, to me, seems like a win-win. I’ve had one of these procedures myself, not long after my wife gave birth to our youngest three months early, and she had her doc tell her in no uncertain terms, “You will not survive another pregnancy.” That turned out to be really motivating, and I had the procedure done post-haste.
As for “inflatable IUDs” – that’s a thing? Really? Oh – wait. It’s not the actual IUDs that are inflatable.
They are doing it quite colorfully. Beyond the health center offering free vasectomies and medication abortions, another group, Americans for Contraception, will display an 18-foot-tall inflatable intrauterine device — a form of long-lasting birth control — near the United Center all week. Its name is Freeda Womb. There will be a “Hotties for Harris” party, hosted by a group of online creators and abortion rights activists, and numerous other events.
Oh, for the luvva Pete. Do these people have no idea how ridiculous they look? An 18-foot inflatable IUD – named Freeda Womb? There once was a time when there was some decorum around proceedings like this, but that time is done past now. If Planned Parenthood is so determined to do this, why not just set up the mobile clinic? Why do they have to advertise it with a display that is the very epitome of poor taste?

I’m not even going to speculate what these people might come up with as far as the previously mentioned “cool buttons” or “themed hats.” The more sane among us have already seen all of that sort of thing that we are willing to tolerate.
Next week’s Democratic National Convention, mark my words, will be a veritable carnival of this kind of stuff. Stay tuned, because we’ll be covering it here, start to finish – and we’ll be watching every bit of egregious lunacy so you won’t have to!
