In preparation for Yellowjackets Season 3, I decided to take a trip back into the wilderness and refresh my memory on Season 2. While I remember being slightly underwhelmed by the season as a whole, certain episodes still stick out in my mind. In fact, one of my favorite episodes of television in 2023 just so happened to be “Qui,” the sixth episode of Season 2 in which Shauna (Sophie Nélisse) gives birth. It’s a breathtaking episode that demands your attention and is so quietly haunting that you can feel every emotion. Later episodes yield a killer Season 2 finale including the death of Natalie (Juliette Lewis) at the hands of Misty (Christina Ricci). While the death was an accident, the shocking ending left us on a cliffhanger and begging for Season 3. I personally cannot wait to see how it plays out.
