I recently embarked on a rewatch of the entire X-Men franchise and there is nothing like seeing the original, impeccable cast in all their glory. The first live-action installment begins when mutants Wolverine and Rogue become unlikely allies when they cross paths, but they quickly find out they’re being hunted by Magneto, who is trying to stop the United States government from passing the Mutant Registry Act. But when the X-Men come to the rescue and bring them back to Professor Charles Xavier’s school for mutants, they realize there’s more to being a mutant than they could have imagined. Many of the original X-Men stars will be reprising their roles in Avengers: Doomsday, so there’s nothing like seeing them in action again.
