WATCH: Kamala Harris Fails to Unburden Herself From Past Word Salads During Cringe Pittsburgh Speech
Try as she might, Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris cannot make it through a public appearance without launching into one of her wacky word salads, some of which have left even some of her staunchest supporters looking confused and uncomfortable.

For instance, during her recent Oprah Winfrey “interview,” amid certain nonsensical answers Harris gave to the questions, Winfrey actually appeared to step in to try and rescue her at various points – no doubt in an effort to make her points for her to the audience members.
In another awkward moment, Harris was talking to fangirls Sunny Hostin from “The View” and abortion rights activist Monica Simpson during last summer’s Essence Festival when Harris went wildly off script to the point Simpson seemingly faked a laugh and Hostin planted a smile on her face just to get through the embarrassing segment.

On Wednesday, Harris was once again in Pennsylvania, this time to give what was touted as a “major speech on the economy,” and as you might have guessed, her word salads made a guest appearance at a most inconvenient time.
Here’s one example:
“We need to guard that spirit. We have to guard that spirit. Let it always inspire us. Let it always be the source of our optimism, which is that spirit that is so uniquely American. And let that then inspire us by helping us to be inspired to solve the problems that so many face.”

I mean, was this really a part of her prepared remarks? Wowsers. Just so cringe.
Watch:

In this one, she admits she “went off script,” and then began cackling:
It’s “Ecclesiastes,” Kamala — not “Ecclesiastics.”

And then there was this accidental truth, which wasn’t a word salad but which should definitely be used in a future Trump-Vance campaign ad:
KAMALA: “We just need to move past the failed policies that we have proven don’t work.”

As RedState previously reported, fresh polling that came out Wednesday from Susquehanna Polling and Research shows GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump has closed a four-point gap from July and is now neck and neck with Harris, with both getting 46 percent among likely Pennsylvania voters.

Even worse for the Harris-Walz campaign, Trump made significant inroads on economy/inflation matters in the latest poll to the point that Susquehanna characterized the former president as having “effectively closed the sale” with the Pennsylvania voters who rank those issues as their top priority:
…Trump is leading w/ “inflation/economy” voters 57:34, a significant improvement from a 50:38 margin in late July. Inflation is rated the top influencing issue by 45% from a list of eight. Trump has effectively “closed the sale” w/ economy voters.
Harris no doubt wants to blunt Trump’s momentum in this crucial battleground state, especially on a subject that is a top concern for voters. But she’ll need more than incoherent word salads and cringe/canned speeches to get it done.
