Watch: 9-Year-Old Girl Blisters School Board Over BLM Posters: ‘You Have Lied to Me’

Breaking News Politics USA World

I’ve used the above picture as my feature image several times over the last year, which is not a practice I generally follow. The reason I’ve done so is because I see it as perhaps the quintessential “official image” of the left’s incessant effort to shove all-things Black Lives Matter down the collective throats of America. A veritable “in your face” parade, as it were.

From “systemic racism,” to “white supremacy,” to Marxist-racist “critical race theory,” the radical left has virtually held White America hostage for more than a year. From ridiculous lectures from the likes of MSNBC’s Joy Reid and CNN’s Don Lemon — themselves, racist — to the indoctrination of young school children, the left continues its insidious drive to pit race and against race, and reprogram this country.

On a relevant positive note, we have begun to see more and more people speak out against “all of the above.” Forcefully so. From angry parents to angry teachers to even young school kids — the most vulnerable of the lot. The most recent example of the latter happened earlier this month in Lakeview, Minnesota, where a nine-year-old girl put the school board on full blast for “blatantly lying about not allowing Black Lives Matter posters on campus due to their political nature,” as reported by BizPac Review.

The unnamed girl took issue with two BLM posters in the hallway of her school. In a video posted to social media on Friday, she teed off on board members right out of the gate.

“The other day I was walking down the hallway at Lakeview Elementary School to give a teacher a retiring gift. I looked up on to the wall and saw a BLM poster and an Amanda Gorman poster.

“In case you don’t know who that chick is, she’s some girl who did a poem for Biden’s so-called inauguration. I was so mad.

“I was told two weeks ago at this very meeting spot, no politics in school. I believed what you said at this meeting, so at lunch I went up to the principal to tell him about the BLM poster and that I wanted it down.”

Savvy nine-year-old, hey? “This chick” and “Biden’s so-called inauguration”? Nicely played.

“I was stunned. When I was here two weeks ago, you told us to report any BLM in our schools. Apparently, you know they’re in our schools because you made the signs.”

Ouch.

The beatdown got worse. A lot, with the girl calling board members liars.

“You have lied to me and I am very disappointed in all of you. You can’t even follow your own rules.

“If you’re going to do that, why do we follow any rules we deem unfit or ridiculous? I’m not following your mask rule anymore then.

“Get the posters out of our schools. Courage is contagious, so be courageous.”

Okay, then. Nine-old-girl: 1, Lakewood Public School Board: 0. Final score.

As BizPac reported, the student told the school board she does not see skin, hair, or eye color. Referring to Martin Luther King Jr.’s admonition that people should be judged based on the content of their character, not the color of their skin, she said she judges her own friends by “what’s inside, instead.”

As Sun This Week, first reported, the posters have been a contentious issue since the end of April. The school board originally ruled that the BLM posters had to be taken down after both parents and students complained about them. Then, the board backtracked and posted two of the posters as part of their “Inclusive Poster Series.” [ROFLMAO]

“The poster series includes two that say ‘Black lives matter,’ which the district has said stands for the social justice movement, but those in opposition say it reflects the views of the Black Lives Matter Global Network, which they said stands for political positions. Opponents maintain any poster with that name on it should be banned by policy,” Sun This Week reported.

The school board’s “rationalization”? As noted by BizPac:

The posters in question have a black background with white lettering. They were banned from the school grounds in September of 2020. To get around that ruling, the board simply made new posters using different colors and fonts.

Superintendent Michael Baumann spewed the following load of crap in a statement, per Sun This Week:

“To affirm our unwavering commitment to and in support of our Black students and staff, this series includes two Black Lives Matter posters.

“While the district has not changed its position that the Black Lives Matter Global Network is a political organization, we recognize there is a non-political social justice movement represented by the statement ‘Black lives matter.’

“Lakeville Area Schools-branded Black lives matter posters are permissible under Policy 535; we ask staff who want to put up Black lives matter posters in their classroom or workspace to use those from this poster series.”

Did I mention that the above is a complete load of crap? Let’s rewind the tape, a bit. The posters in question are part of the school district’s “Inclusive Posters Series,” you say?

Memo to the left:

When you lie your ass off preach to the rest of us about “inclusivity,” we both know you’re not talking about “inclusive” anything (See: “Dr. Seuss,” et al.) any more than you’re talking about “tolerance” when you preach “tolerance.” Your definition of both common words centers on “inclusion” and “tolerance” of all things leftist, and — pointedly so — exclusion and intolerance of anything and everything over which you get your leftist panties in a wad.

A nine-year-old girl with the moral courage to tell agenda-driven left-wingers the truth. To their faces. To speak truth to power. A special kid, for sure, but from a larger perspective, yet another example of a decent American taking the radical left to task.

The left has pushed for a year. Maybe — just maybe — they have finally pushed too far.
