‘Toy Story 2’
The Toy Story franchise is my favorite body of work from Disney and Pixar, and I believe the second installment tops the original film for several reasons: Jessie is introduced, there’s no creepy Sid, and Randy Newman’s “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” — sung by Robert Goulet as Wheezy — plays out the film in a touching, toy-studded reunion. For those looking for a nostalgic watch this weekend, there’s nothing like letting yourself get lost in those dreamy and iconically fluffy Pixar clouds…
