One of the biggest HBO shows is finally back and ready to completely shatter our hearts. The Last of Us Season 2 reunites us with Joel (Pedro Pascal), Ellie (Bella Ramsey), and Tommy (Gabriel Luna), while also introducing new friends and foes. The new season of the HBO hit opens with us learning that Joel’s little murder rampage to save Ellie has some major repercussions. Namely, the survivors of the Salt Lake City massacre, led by Kaitlyn Dever’s Abby, want revenge. The Last of Us Season 2 follows the fallout of Joel’s actions in devastating emotional and inevitably violent ways. Lighting up the darkness, though, is new character Dina (Isabela Merced), who offers the show a much-needed lift as Ellie’s BFF and love interest. The Last of Us is what appointment viewing television is all about.
