This year marks the 40th anniversary of The Breakfast Club, a John Hughes coming-of-age film that’s become a rite of passage for multiple generations. Starring Brat Packers Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Ally Sheedy, and Emilio Estevez, The Breakfast Club follows a group of teenagers, all from differing cliques, whose paths cross at a Saturday detention. After four decades, the film still stands as one of the best teen films ever made. Even the strongest of people can’t stop themselves from throwing a fist in the air when Simple Minds’ “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” comes on the radio.
