Restarting production to capture new, earth-shattering information that comes out after filming wraps is becoming a regular feat in the Bravo universe. Much like Summer House Season 8 when cameras picked back up to film the fallout of Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke‘s failed engagement, the Season 9 crew was on standby when Paige DeSorbo announced her breakup from Craig Conover.

In a Season 9 teaser that played after the premiere episode on Wednesday (Feb. 12) night, DeSorbo sits down with co-stars Amanda Batula and Hubbard to discuss her breakup six months after they finished filming the season — and what she says might shock you.

“I’m like, ‘Craig, what are you talking about? I feel like you’re so betraying me right now. You’re gonna let people say that I’m a cheater? I caught you texting two bitches during the course of our relationship. Now you’re dead to me,’” DeSorbo fumes, while her friends react with shocked faces.

The little snippet came less than one week after the Southern Charm midseason trailer teased Conover’s post-breakup conversation with Shep Rose and Austen Kroll, during which he claimed that DeSorbo asked him to buy her an engagement ring — so he did.

However, it seems as though DeSorbo’s anger with her ex-boyfriend mainly stems from the fact that he didn’t shut down rumors that she cheated on him when she asked him to.

DeSorbo’s dating life has become a hot topic in the Bravo world, especially now that she’s been seen with a man named Joe D’Amelio on multiple occasions. However, DeSorbo promised her Giggly Squad listeners that she’s very much so single during a recent episode where she also called out Conover for not defending her amid the cheating rumors.

Conover, for his part, explained on last Thursday’s (Feb. 6) episode of Watch What Happens Live, why he didn’t feel a need to speak out about the gossip.

“I’m the ex-boyfriend now, moving on with my life,” Conover said. “I’m not gonna get sucked in the mud with them. Her cast commenting on how I’m grieving — I’m sorry, I’m not reading Reddit every day and getting on there and defending her. Like, I never said you cheated. So, I’m not a part of this.”

We’ll just have to see how it all unfolds on both Summer House and Southern Charm!
