Ljubljana – The European Commission recently announced the Erasmus+ call for 2025. Almost five billion euros will be available to support learning abroad and cooperation in education, training, youth, and sport, which is a 6.5% increase compared to last year. Slovenia has been allocated around 37 million euros for Erasmus+ projects for the year 2025.
In line with the priority areas outlined in the Erasmus+ program for the period 2021-2027, the call is aimed at supporting a wide range of projects that promote social inclusion, green and digital transition, and youth participation in democratic life.
The Erasmus+ program actually covers the entire education vertical – preschool and general school education, vocational and professional education, tertiary education, and adult general education, in addition to the areas of sports and youth. Its implementation is primarily managed by the European Commission in collaboration with a network of national agencies in all participating countries. (November 27)
