‘Running Point’
Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, and David Stassen’s new Netflix sports comedy Running Point, featuring a star-studded roster of Kate Hudson, Brenda Song, Drew Tarver, Max Greenfield, and Chet Hanks, shoots and scores. The series follows Isla Gordon (Hudson), who after long being overlooked, becomes the president of her family’s prestigious basketball team, the Los Angeles Waves. With this responsibility comes family tensions and difficulties navigating the press, but Hudson’s Isla rises to the challenge, delivering a bingeable series that is well worth your time.
