In 2023, Netflix quietly released a star-studded crime thriller that delivered more than we expected in today’s age of bloated self-importance. Benicio del Toro stars as Officer Tom Nichols who is investigating the death of a local real estate agent after she is found brutally murdered in one of the properties she was showing. But Officer Nichols only finds more loose threads as he investigates the victim’s boyfriend, who is pointing his finger at a suspect who a motivate. Reptile features a star-studded cast that will keep you at the edge of your seat – Alicia Silverstone, Justin Timberlake, Michael Pitt (who I have very much missed seeing on my screen!), and Eric Bogosian.
