‘Predator: Killer of Killers’

Three years ago, director Dan Trachtenberg scored a massive hit for Hulu with his utterly incredible retelling of the Predator story, Prey. Set in early 18th century America, we followed a young indigenous woman who longed to be a hunter like her brother. By the end of the film, she had used her wits, skills, and sheer force of will to defeat one of the infamous Predator aliens. The obvious follow up would be a new flick centered on Amber Midthunder’s Naru, but Trachtenberg once again followed his muse. Predator: Killer of Killers is an animated feature dropping in on three different historic warriors and their own pitched battles with the hunter aliens. The less you know about the film going in, the better, because it’s full of twists, turns, and revelations sure to impact the future of the franchise. A must-watch for Prey fans, Predator obsessives, and animation mavens. Predator: Killer of Killers is as beautiful as it is bloody — and it’s really, really bloody.
