If you, like me, have been dying for another Paddington adventure after the 2018 masterpiece that is Paddington 2, drop everything to stream Paddington in Peru, which is now available on demand. In the newest Paddington installment, the kind and polite bear (voiced again by Ben Whishaw) and the Brown family are off on another adventure, this time to his homeland, Peru, where Paddington’s beloved Aunt Lucy (Imelda Staunton) has disappeared from the Home for Retired Bears. The search to find her sends the Browns deep into the Peruvian jungle on both land and sea. Hijinks ensue, of course, and movie takes cues from adventure movies (most obviously Indiana Jones) as Paddington is forced to face off against adversaries put in his way. Antonio Banderas and Olivia Colman make excellent additions to the franchise, committing fully to several different bits that get funnier as the movie goes on. It’s a Paddington movie, though, so be prepared to shed some tears, too.
