Culiacán, Sin.- On Friday morning, November 3, two days before the celebration of the Day of the Little Angels, a baby was declared dead at the Pediatric Hospital due to fentanyl intoxication.

The infant was identified by authorities as Julian ‘N’, only 1-year-old, who lived with his parents in Colonia 6 de Enero.

The information indicates that at approximately 1:00 a.m. on Friday, authorities were informed of the admission of a baby to the Sinaloa Pediatric Hospital in critical condition, intoxicated with fentanyl.

Unfortunately, 5 hours later, exactly at 6:20 a.m., the infant lost his life due to the after-effects of the intoxication caused by the alleged drug.

After the infant’s death, police authorities and investigation agents from the Ares group of the State Attorney General’s Office were present at the hospital to verify the facts.
