The closure of the highway was due to an armed confrontation between elements of the Sedena and CDN [Cartel del Northeast].
The armed conflict caused the death of at least 6 people. 10 vehicles were confiscated by the authorities.
In social networks circulated videos that attest to the traffic chaos and the tension that was experienced before the closure of the interstate artery.
The events were recorded near kilometer 190 in the state of Tamaulipas around 10 Saturday morning.
