It’s Tuesday and time for another round of state and congressional primaries: This week, it’s Connecticut, Minnesota, Vermont, and Wisconsin.
Races to keep an eye on this evening:

- In the Connecticut GOP Senate primary, Gerry Smith faces off against Matt Corey
- In the Connecticut GOP House primary for CD-4, Bob MacGuffie faces Michael Goldstein (in a D+13 district currently represented by Democrat Jim Himes).
- In the Minnesota GOP Senate primary, Royce White faces Joe Fraser (while Democrat Senator Amy Klobuchar is expected to win her primary handily).
- In the Minnesota Dem House primary for CD-5, Rep. Ilhan Omar is once again challenged by Don Samuels, who lost to her in 2022 by a mere two points. However, current polling shows the incumbent well ahead of her challenger.
- In the Wisconsin GOP Senate primary, Eric Hovde is favored to win over Charles Barman and Rejani Raveendren
- In addition to the standard House primaries, Wisconsin is also holding a special election to fill the seat vacated by Mike Gallagher (R). Democrat Kristin Lyerly is running unopposed. On the Republican side, Roger Roth, Tony Wied, and Andre Jaque are facing off.
