John Fetterman Trolls Pro-Hamas Crowd Again by Decorating His Office With Interesting Choice of Wallpaper

Breaking News Politics USA World

When he’s not busy changing the Senate dress code or going after Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) to get him out of office, it seems Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) likes to spend his time trolling the anti-Israel crowd. On Tuesday, Fetterman posted footage of his office in Congress wallpapered with posters of missing Israeli hostages taken by Hamas during its surprise attack on Israel on October 7.

The footage in his video panned around his office showing the posters. In the post on X, formerly Twitter, Fetterman explained that the posters “will stay up until every single person is safely returned home.”

In another bout of trolling on Friday, Fetterman taunted pro-Hamas protesters as they were being arrested in front of the U.S. Capitol building. He walked out in front of the demonstrators — waving an Israeli flag as they yelled at him.

On Monday, Fetterman verbally slapped down an anti-Israel heckler, who was yelling at him while he was at an event.

Fetterman was out at an event campaigning for another Democrat who was running for county executive when he was interrupted by a protester in the audience., who ripped into him, yelling about “4000 plus dead children and 9000 plus dead civilians”  in Gaza and telling him to “get off the stage.”

Despite being on the left, Fetterman has been a vocal supporter of Israel, especially after it was attacked on October 7. In a written statement on his website, the senator elaborated on his position regarding the war. He condemned Hamas’ attack as a “wide-scale, premeditated, cowardly, terrorist campaign against Israeli civilians” and expressed his fervent support for the Jewish state. He argued that the United States has “a moral obligation” to stand with Israel and support its efforts to eradicate the terrorist group.

Not surprisingly, Fetterman’s strong support of Israel has ruffled more than a few feathers among Democrats – especially among the far-leftists. Indeed, several X users responded to the video footage of his office with condemnation.

Nevertheless, Fetterman, despite being billed as a progressive, has not taken the anti-Israel position, much to the consternation of others on the left. He has been one of few Democrats who have repudiated calls for a ceasefire in Gaza as Israel continues to root out Hamas. It is not clear how his stance on Israel would affect his political career. But, so far, it seems there are more people who support his position on the issue than those who do not.
