Netflix’s new thriller It’s What’s Inside will exceed your expectations. This technicolor sci-fi follows a group of college friends who reunite for a pre-wedding party. But their night quickly takes a turn when an estranged classmate crashes the party with a mysterious game and some seriously bad vibes. The friends are shocked to learn the game actually allows them to switch bodies with each other, but the experiment forces them to face the deep-seated issues they’ve been ignoring all along – both with themselves and each other. The film features a stellar cast – including White Lotus actress Brittany O’Grady, The 100 actress Alycia Debnam-Carey, and Sex Lives of College Girls actors Gavin Leatherwood and James Morosini – that deftly handles switching characters at the drop of a hat. Though it’s easy to get discouraged by the somewhat cringey first act because of its deeply flawed characters, the film really hits its stride once the cast has each other to play off of in acts two and three. The ending will also surprise you and leave you wanting more.
