The BAU is back, baby. And against all odds, so is Elias Voit (Zach Gilford). Criminal Minds: Evolution returned with its highly-anticipated Season 18 premiere on Thursday, May 8, revealing that Voit survived his Season 17 finale prison attack, with a major twist… No spoilers here, but the serial killer will work with the BAU again in some capacity as Sicarius’ loyal followers go on killing sprees across the country. The Season 18 premiere saw Rossi (Joe Mantegna), Prentiss (Paget Brewster), JJ (A.J. Cook), Luke (Adam Rodriguez), Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), Tyler (Ryan-James Hatanaka), and the rest of the series’ core characters work to track down a new unsub, while Episode 1802 ended with the shocking death of a longtime character. It’s clear we’ve got a packed season ahead, and with Matthew Gray Gubler confirmed to return as Dr. Spencer Reid, now’s the time to catch up on Paramount+.
