In another example of how bad the consequences are for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky following his disastrous Oval Office meeting with President Trump and Vice President JD Vance, CIA Director John Ratcliffe revealed Wednesday that the administration is no longer sharing intelligence with the war-torn country.

The consequences keep coming after Zelensky challenged Trump and Vance in the White House:
The C.I.A. director John Ratcliffe said on Wednesday that intelligence sharing with Ukraine had been paused alongside military aid to pressure its government to cooperate with the Trump administration’s plans to end the country’s war with Russia.
Speaking on Fox Business, Mr. Ratcliffe applauded the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky’s statement on Tuesday praising President Trump and insisting that he supported peace with Russia. Mr. Ratcliffe said he thought intelligence sharing would resume.

Zelensky has been warned in no uncertain terms that he must work toward peace instead of prolonging the war. If he wants further U.S. assistance after we’ve already poured billions into helping them, he must show some actual appreciation to the United States:
Mr. Ratcliffe said on Wednesday that Mr. Trump asked for a pause on intelligence sharing. And his comments suggest that the C.I.A. put at least some of its intelligence sharing with Ukraine on hold for a short time.
Trump administration officials have said the pauses were a warning to the Ukrainians of the consequences if they did not cooperate with Mr. Trump’s peace plan.
Ratcliffe also spoke about another subject—the “top terrorist” behind the 2021 Abbey Gate tragedy in Afghanistan, when a suicide bomber killed 13 American servicemembers and hundreds of Aghans during Biden’s disastrous withdrawal. Ratcliffe was on the ground along with FBI Director Kash Patel, Attorney General Pam Bondi and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard as the suspect arrived on U.S. soil:
The capture is another win for the Trump administration and, as Ratcliffe put it, another example of the “Trump Effect.” Meanwhile, we wait and see if Zelensky signs the minerals deal and starts showing that he is focused on peace and working with all parties to negotiate a solution.
