Biden Deputy Press Sec Resigns After Threatening To ‘Destroy’ Reporter For Exposing His Relationship With Journalist

TJ Ducklo, a Deputy Press Secretary for the Biden regime, has officially resigned after first being placed on unpaid leave for threatening to “destroy” a female Politico reporter for asking about his potentially inappropriate relationship with another member of the media. Ducklo has now officially left the Biden administration.

Ducklo, who was then one of the top public relations people in the White House, was in a relationship with a member of the media, a reporter for Axios. When Politico reporter Tara Palmieri contacted Ducklo and revealed that she was investigating a potential conflict of interest posed by the Biden White House official in a romantic relationship with a member of the media, who is ostensibly meant to hold the Biden administration accountable for its actions, Ducklo threatened to “destroy” Palmieri.

National File reported:

White House Deputy Press Secretary TJ Ducklo had threatened Politico reporter Tara Palmieri for reporting on his sexual relationship with an Axios political reporter, telling her “I will destroy you” and threatening to ruin her reputation.”

Disturbingly, Ducklo accused Palmieri of being “jealous” of his sexual relationship with the Axios reporter, claiming without evidence that her reporting on the ethical concerns of Ducklo’s relationship stemmed from another man wanting “to f**k” the Axios reporter “and not you.”

Surprisingly, and despite Biden’s promise that he would fire any of his administration who did not act with decorum, and despite the misogyny represented by Ducklo’s comments, the Biden administration did not immediately fire him. Instead, Ducklo was placed on unpaid leave for one week, a move Press Secretary Jen Psaki said was a “serious punishment.”

However, after media on both sides of the political aisle questioned Biden’s decision not to fire Ducklo, the White House abruptly announced that Ducklo resigned from his position.

“TJ Ducklo resigned Saturday amid fallout from a contentious phone call last month in which he berated and threatened a female reporter,” reported The Washington Post. “by Saturday, both senior White House advisers and Ducklo said they had reassessed the incident, leading to his resignation that night.”

Ducklo posted a statement to Twitter claiming he was embarrassed by his actions.

“No words can express my regret, my embarrassment, and my disgust for my behavior,” wrote Ducklo, who threatened to “destroy” a female reporter less than one month ago. “It was language that was abhorrent, disrespectful, and unacceptable.”

“I am devastated to have embarrassed and disappointed my White House colleagues and President Biden,” he added. Then, Ducklo revealed that the resignation may not have been his idea.

“After a discussion with White House communications leadership tonight, I resigned my position and will not be returning from administrative leave,” wrote Ducklo.

“I know this was terrible. I know I can’t take it back,” wrote Ducklo, before claiming that it was really not that bad when examining all facets of his life. “This incident is not representative of who I am as a person, and I will be determined to earn back the trust of everyone I have let down because of my intolerable actions.”
