This autodefensa was formed early August to combat the frequent attacks and robberies taxi, Uber, bus, and combi drivers face, reported Zeta Tijuana. (Stay tuned for an article I am writing on this)
Veracruz – There have been 702 clandestine graves found in the state of Veracruz, reported El Universal.
Guerrero, Acapulco – Armed men left bodies in black plastic bags on the side of a road, reported Quadratin Guerrero.
Guerrero, Acapulco – Another taxi driver was killed in Acapulco, reported Quadratin Guerrero. Dozens of taxi and public transport drivers have been killed in the state this year.
Quintana Roo, Cancun – Tourism taxi drivers protested extortion fees imposed by government workers they face while working, reported Novedades Quintana Roo.
Quintana Roo, Cancun – The owner of a tire repair shop was shot by gunmen, likely after failing to pay an extortion fee, reported Quintana Roo Hoy.
