‘Another Simple Favor’
Another Simple Favor, now streaming on Prime Video, is a perfect summer movie. This sequel to the 2018 dark comedy thriller, A Simple Favor, reunites Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick as fellow moms and former best friends—until the sweet-tempered mommy vlogger Stephanie Smothers (Kendrick) uncovered the dark, murderous truth about the glamorous Emily Nelson (Lively). Director Paul Feig relishes in the kind of beauty you can only get in movies, from the jaw-dropping fashion to the gorgeous location shoot in Capri. And despite tabloid feud rumors, Lively and Kendrick eat up their scenes together with sizzling chemistry that propels you through a sometimes-ridiculous, but always-compelling story.
