Laisha Michelle Oseguera González, daughter of the leader El Mencho, went from mystery to certainty, after being identified as an operator in her father’s criminal organization.

The youngest daughter of the narco chief, who for years stayed away from the radar of the authorities, was related to the kidnapping of two sailors in retaliation for the recapture of her mother, Rosalinda González Valencia, on November 15, in Zapopan, Jalisco as reported by Borderland Beat.

González’s re-apprehension brought with it a series of reactions, including Laisha’s eager attempt to seek protection from federal justice. Said order was granted to her on Tuesday when federal judge Julio Veredín Sena Velázquez granted her a provisional suspension, which protects her from any arrest warrant for crimes that do not merit preventive detention. The precautionary measure will not be valid if Laisha does not cover a guarantee of 5,000 pesos.

According to the facts, as reported by Borderland Beat, the officials of the Secretary of the Navy picked up by Laisha and her boyfriend, Christian Fernando Gutiérrez Ochoa, were in the parking lot of a Walt Mart store in the municipality of Zapopan.

The sailors aboard a Jeep truck were waiting for a captain, who had entered the business. Both elements were allegedly kidnapped by Laisha and her boyfriend. The naval elements were rescued alive days later. Rosalinda González Valencia was recaptured on November 15, for not showing up to sign before the Precautionary Measures Unit to continue facing her process in freedom for operations with resources of illicit origin.

Unlike her two siblings, Jessica Johana and Rubén El Menchito, both prisoners in the United States, there is no photograph or description that can be found through social networks of Laisha. Her name also does not appear in internet searches on the DEA and Treasury pages.

Only the Mexican weekly Zeta, from the city of Tijuana, has given credit to the existence of Mencho’s third daughter. In an investigation carried out in 2019 in the Public Registry of Property and Commerce, it found that Laisha’s name appears as the owner of some properties in that border capital.

One of these properties is a property in the Jardines de Chapultepec subdivision, Tijuana, which was designated as part of the assets of Mencho’s youngest daughter. Laisha, Jessica Johana, and her mother, Rosalía González acquired several residences in Playas de Tijuana between 1998 and 2009, some of which are insured by the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), according to Zeta.
