Alstom to join the Middle East Rail Conference, the largest transport event in the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia

(MENAFN– Katch ) 10 October 2021 – Alstom will participate in MENA and South Asia’s largest transport event – Middle East Rail Conference from 12 – 13 October, 2021, in Dubai. At the event, Mama Sougoufara, Managing Director for the MENAT region, will deliver a keynote speech. In addition, Eddy Thesee, Vice President – Group Product & Solutions, will conduct an insightful seminar on cybersecurity, while Andreas Frixen, Product Director for Green Rail Solution, will take part in a sustainability focused panel.

In his keynote speech, Mama Sougoufara will underline Alstom’s innovation agenda and the future outlook of the industry. Attendees will hear about the latest technologies in the mobility industry, with the growing focus on smart and green transport and the role companies like Alstom play.

The cybersecurity seminar, hosted by Eddy Thesee, will draw attention to the worldwide increase of cyber threats across all sectors and how Alstom’s protects its assets, and its customer base efficiently.

Andreas Frixen will offer his expertise across the sustainability-focused panel. He will highlight the importance of green technology vis-à-vis climate change and carbon footprint reduction in the transport industry. He will also explain why hydrogen trains are at the heart of future sustainable mobility as an area pioneered by Alstom.

The event will be an opportunity for Alstom and other industry leaders to engage, and for Alstom to showcase their unique practices and innovative sustainability plans.
