‘Adults’: “Marathon Day’
FX has given Adults fans the backstory on how the friend group found Paul Baker (Jack Innanen) in a laugh-out-loud-inducing standalone prequel episode. Titled “Marathon Day,” the new installment sees Anton (Owen Thiele) caught in a lie with his co-workers, who believe he’s running the New York City Marathon and go to support him. With the help of his friends Samir (Malik Elassal), Issa (Amita Rao), and Billie (Lucy Freyer), he devises a plot to make them think he ran the marathon. How might Paul Baker fit into this?
