‘Ransom Canyon’ Season 2

Looking for another popular Western drama to watch now that Dutton Ranch has wrapped its debut season? Netflix’s hit series Ransom Canyon is at your service. Based on Jodi Thomas’ novel of the same name, April Blair’s series takes viewers back to Texas and delivers drama, romance, ranching, and a whole lot of heart. Think the vibes of Yellowstone and Virgin River, with a dash of Friday Night Lights thrown in, mostly because FNL’s Minka Kelly leads the cast opposite Josh Duhamel. Season 1 saw three families battle for land, welcomed a new cowboy named Yancy Grey (Jack Schumacher) to town, and gave viewers a ride on Quinn O’Grady (Kelly) and Staten Kirkland’s (Duhamel) romantic roller coaster. After a six-month time jump, Season 2 delivers new love triangles, high-stakes twists, and exciting guest stars like Country singers Thomas Rhett and Jordan Davis.
