‘Nomadland’

If you’re feeling some type of way about the recent 4th of July celebrations, you might check out director Chloe Zhao’s quiet masterpiece, Nomadland, now streaming on Netflix. Frances McDormand delivers one of her best performances (and that’s saying something!) as a woman who moves into her van out of financial necessity. It’s a gorgeous, heartbreaking, and empathetic portrayal of the people America pushed to the sidelines.
