‘True Justice: Family Ties’

Before True Justice: Eye For An Eye premieres tonight on Hallmark Channel, give the film that started the network’s legal drama franchise a rewatch. 2024’s True Justice: Family Ties follows law student Casey Barlow (Katherine McNamara), whose brother Marcus is caught stealing a necklace from the dead body of her former friend from undergrad, and is accused of second-degree murder. Casey recruits the help of her friends Sarah (Marisa McIntyre) and PJ (Sabrina Saudin) — and even the help of a seemingly unlikely ally, Devina’s boyfriend, Eli (Markian Tarasiuk) — to clear her brother’s name. After Liam (Alexander Nuñez), a private investigator, joins their team, the Justice Warriors are formed.
