‘Happy’s Place’

Reba McEntire’s still got it. The country singing superstar returned to her sitcom roots with NBC’s Happy’s Place, in which she plays a bar owner who inherits her late father’s bar. But her plans for Happy’s Place get thrown for a loop when she learns she has a younger half-sister who, technically, also owns the place. Now in its second season, Happy’s Place tests the limits of loyalty in the tavern as Isabella’s Gen Z sensibilities continue to clash against Bobbie’s old guard leadership. The series is lighthearted fun that is perfect for throwing on in the background, while offering real, touching emphasis on found family. The series also reunites McEntire with her Reba co-star Melissa Peterman, who is as funny as ever.
