‘Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole’
Netflix’s new crime thriller, Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole, is the ultimate Scandi noir show. The series, created by best-selling author Jo Nesbø, brings one of the most tense and beloved Detective Harry Hole novels to life, The Devil’s Star. Harry Hole (Tobias Santelmann) is a talented detective and recovering alcoholic attempting to start fresh with a new romantic partner years after a devastating case. However, when his best friend is killed in the field, Harry begins to spiral again — and at the worst possible moment. A serial killer begins preying upon Oslo and Harry is matched up with his bitter rival, crooked cop Tom Waaler (Joel Kinnaman), to take on the case. Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole is a perfect Norwegian mystery series.
