‘Chris Fleming: Live at the Palace’

As a stand-up aficionado, I am always on the lookout for the next big thing in comedy, and right now, that thing is Chris Fleming. I don’t think he would mind being called “that thing,” either, as one of his first jokes in the HBO Max special is that his last stand-up special sparked a nationwide manhunt for his pronouns. Fleming is a storytelling expert who can make just about anything seem silly and fun with his signature oddball delivery and it’s the thing that makes me think he might be on the verge of making it big. Do yourself a favor and watch.
