‘The Muppet Show’ (2026)
It’s time to play the music. It’s time to light the lights… because The Muppet Show is back! In a new half-hour special honoring the 50th anniversary of the program, fans are reunited with some of the most iconic Jim Henson-created personalities, as well as some celebrity guests like Sabrina Carpenter, Seth Rogen, and Maya Rudolph. Though I think they missed the prime opportunity for Carpenter to sing “Am I A Manchild or Am I A Muppet,” Carpenter proves she is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the variety show genre, whether it be her latest stint on The Muppet Show, her very own Netflix Christmas special, or her viral appearance on SNL50.
