Watch: Burglars raid jewellers in daytime break-in

Burglars shattered the front window of a west London jewellers before making off with several items as staff tried to stop them.

Footage from social media shows two masked men use a hammer to smash the window of Gregory & Co jewellers in Richmond before pulling off the damaged glass.

As they scooped up items, one staff member was seen trying to bat the burglars away with a small box while another attempted to remove items from the window display.

The Met Police has appealed for witnesses to the burglary which it said happened at about 10:30 GMT on Saturday.
