Personally, I’m still wayyyy behind. I spent the week catching up on Apple TV’s Pluribus (love it) and finally watching the second season of Netflix’s Nobody Wants This (a delight). You may have noticed that CBS favorites Fire Country and Sheriff Country weren’t mentioned when I was listing returning network shows. When exactly will these two beloved dramas be back with new episodes?

Here’s everything you need to know.

Are Sheriff Country and Fire Country Airing New Episodes Tonight (January 9)?

Nope. Unfortunately, it’s another night of reruns on CBS. The network is reairing the premiere of Harlan Coben’s Final Twist at 8:00 p.m. ET, followed by Episode 7 of Sheriff Country (“Glory Days”) at 9:00 p.m. ET.

The night concludes with a rerun of Boston Blue (“Baggage Claim”).

When Do Fire Country and Sheriff Country Return to CBS with New Episodes?

Sadly, it’s going to be a few weeks. Both Fire Country and Sheriff Country return to CBS on Friday, February 27, 2026.
