2025-26 NFL MVP odds, race: Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen tied atop oddsboard
Hurts happened to own the previous record of 70 QB rushing yards in a Super Bowl (Super Bowl LVII).
The first non-quarterbacks to crack the oddsboard are Saquon Barkley (+5000) and Jahmyr Gibbs (+8000).
Barkley’s odds changed as well, from +6000 before Super Bowl LIX to +5000 afterward. He made history that day by surpassing Terrell Davis’ record of 2,476 rushing yards in a season, including the playoffs. Barkley finished the season with 2,504 total rushing yards.
Derrick Henry, Christian McCaffrey and Bijan Robinson all slot in next at +10000.
The last non-quarterback to win the award was Adrian Peterson in 2012, preceded by LaDainian Tomlinson in 2006, Shaun Alexander in 2005, and Marshall Faulk in 2000.
